Internship | Yishun Health HRIS Transformation Project

NOTE: This project contains sensitive information. Therefore, I will only be providing a summary on the project and what I have learnt.

For my internship during my final year in Nanyang Polytechnic, I joined Yishun Health as a HRIS Intern for 6 months. My scope of work is to complete all tasks given to assist in the HRIS Transformation Project, which Yishun Health aims to migrate their legacy HR system to a new cloud-based HR system.

The main tasks that I have completed during the project were:
- Undergo training provided by IBM on the SuccessFactors software used in the new HR system
- Deploy a helpdesk on Yishun Health premises to assist staff with the new system
- Create an intranet web portal for staff to visit when they need help with the new system
- Design posters and other content to promote and educate staff about the new system
- Participate in video creation to promote awareness about the new system to staff
- Assist in the data migration process

Skills and software that I have learnt and improved during the project were:
1. Software: SuccessFactors, Workplace by Meta
2. Data Related: Jupyter Notebook + Anaconda, Pandas, other data related Python libraries e.g. Matplotlib
3. Coding: Python, HTML, CSS, JavaScript
4. Designing: Canva, Figma
5. Microsoft Office: Word, PowerPoint, Excel
6. Others: Video Taking, Scriptwriting, Directing, Storyboarding
7. Soft skills: Communication, Problem Solving, Critical Thinking, Creativity
